My name is Danielle Norton and I am a recent graduate from the University of Southern California. Originally from Kansas City, my career aspirations have taken me to San Francisco, California where I now work as an Enterprise Business Representative for BrightEdge technologies. Photography has been, and always will be, a huge passion of mine. I learned the medium through film photogrpahy my freshman year of high school and continued to study and explore the art in my journalism department. By the time I'd joined the Yearbook, I graduated to digital photography - though it was all still a manual application.
During high school and through college, I pursued my love for photography through building a business around portraiture and event photography. Though I specialize in portraiture, I take appointments for any professional photography needs you may have. If you are interested in hiring me, please go to the "Contact" tab to send an inquiry email.
I think that the most important thing to be successful in any profession or job is passion. The thing I love about photography is the idea of documenting a moment in time and savoring it forever. My sophomore year in high school, I was on assignment at Hale Arena photographing the National Robotics competition. I saw a man with his granddaughter on his shoulders, his hands wrapped around her small thumbs. I turned my lens to them and the elderly man smiled at me as I began taking their photo. It's an image that I will remember forever. The feeling I got taking their picture, experiencing their obvious love and affection for each other, is the reason I enjoy photography so much. It enables me to document special moments between individuals and share their feelings and experiences with the world.
